Lure Of Obsession – Lisa Kessler / #Interview #BookBirthdayBlitz @rararesources @LdyDisney

Fated Mates meets Clash of the Titans!

Melanie Jacoby is the human vessel for the Muse of Tragic Poetry, but she isn’t prepared for the tragedy of finding her roommate dead at the bottom of the stairs.

Nate Malone is the detective assigned to the case, but as the evidence points to an accidental fall, the visions begin. He sees a killer in a gold Kronos mask.

Mel is the next target, but Nate’s determination to protect her is almost as strong as his desire for her.

And tragedy isn’t part of his plan.

The Prophecy – “Every generation the nine daughters of Zeus are reborn, and with their rebirth are also nine Guardians. They will be marked by the gods, and given gifts to protect his treasure. Their abilities will only be unlocked when they find their muse.”

– When and where do you prefer to write?

Night time in my writing corner with candles and incense going.

– Do you have a certain ritual?

I always listen to my book playlist while I write and edit, and when I’m struggling with a scene, I chew way too many pieces of Trident bubble gun! 😊

– Is there a drink of some food that keeps you company while you write?

Iced Tea – unsweet

– What is your favourite book?

Ack! I have MANY favorites… Here’s a few: The Shining & The Stand by Stephen King, Tale of the Body Thief and Pandora by Anne Rice, Dark Fire by Christine Feehan, and Dime Store Magic by Kelley Armstrong

– Do you consider writing a different genre in the future?

I have a horror novel on my hard drive, but I’d like to release it as a trilogy, so I need to write the other two books first.

– Do you sometimes base your characters on people you know?

No, but I’ve used many quirks from people I know to build different characters.

– Do you take a notebook everywhere in order to write down ideas that pop up?

I do usually have a notepad with me!

– Which genre do you not like at all?

Hmmm… I don’t read much hard sci-fi.

– If you had the chance to co-write a book. Whom would it be with?

I’m not sure I’d be a good co-writer! LOL I’m afraid I’d be too bossy…

– If you should travel to a foreign country to do research, which one would you chose and why?

I’m dying to write more Fae stories and I’d love to visit Ireland and Scotland to research more.

Thank you, Lisa Kessler and Rachel’s Random Resources.
