When someone you love dies and it’s up to you to clear out the house it’s ever easy because every little thing has a bunch of memories attached to them. It’s almost impossible to throw something away, but you have to. So you decide to start in a place you think will hold the least memorable things: the attic. But boy oh boy, were you in for a surprise! You find something you have not seen in about two decades. Something you thought you would never see again and more importantly why is it here in the first place?
You are transported back to your teenage self at the speed of light…
Suddenly you start doubting people who have known for a very long time. You thought you knew them, but did you?
Jodie does not know what to think and she has a lot more questions than answers. Time to start digging…
She does not only have to deal with the past, but her present life is not a bed of roses either.
She has a lot to think about and decide whether some things are better left buried.
We always feel for the victims, but often they are not so innocent either.
I love reading thrillers. It’s so entertaining to try and find out who the culprit is. I sleuth with bags of enthusiasm, but my results are often lacking. 😊 I don’t mind though. Trying to unravel the mystery is a lot of fun and I always admire the author for being able to keep me in the dark. 5 stars for this great story.
