When and where do you prefer to write?
I prefer to write when I’m going through something, I want to share that with people and the
process of how I got through it. I also write when I get really excited about finding a solution
to certain life obstacles. So in a way I write at my worst to share my struggles and at my best
to share how I got there. As to where I write I will write literally anywhere if I have an idea or
something to say. I have to immediately write it down so I don’t lose that masterpiece.
Do you need peace and quiet when you are writing?
Honestly no, I can write in the midst of chaos. I will typically zone out from the world and
just be in my world of writing. But I do prefer that no one speaks to me while I’m writing
because I’d lose my train of thought and then I would forget what I was just about to write.
What is your favourite and least favourite genre?
My favorite genre is self-help books followed by mystery books. I don’t necessarily have a
least favourite genre. I just pick up the books I like and read.
Say someone asks if they can use your name in a book. Would you rather be the good one
or the bad?
I definitely would want to be a good character in a book. I want my name to be represented
in a good way. I wouldn’t want people to associate my name in a bad manner. It’s similar
with actors if I watch a film with an evil character and then I watch a different movie with
the same actor except in this movie that person is good I just wouldn’t be able to unsee that
person from being evil.
Where can I find you when you are reading?
When I am reading, I am reading in a quiet space. I might be walking, in the car, or resting in
Where can I find you when you are not writing/reading?
If I’m not writing I am lifting, dancing or swimming. I'm a very active person. I’ve been
dancing for 5 years now and have been lifting for almost a year now. As for swimming I’ve
always enjoyed it and just picked it up as a hobby.
What goes through your mind when you hold your new book in your hands for the first
Pride and joy are what go through my mind holding my book for the first time. I have so much joy that my dream of writing a book has come true. And I have so much pride for myself for the hard work I put in and for writing such a good book.
How do you come up with a title for your book?
Coming up with the title of my book is a fun process. I come up with so many titles while writing. As I write further and further each excerpt helps me come up with a title that describes my book. Then I eventually pick the title that sounds the best and works the best.
How do you pick a cover for your book?
Picking a cover for the book is probably one of the hardest things I have to think of. The way I pick the cover is by using whatever my book title is and finding something that represents
What is the title of the next book on your to read pile?
The next book on my to read pile would be Talking about BPD by Rosie Cappuccino. I love reading self-help books and I also wanted to learn more about my BPD.
