I have read the previous book and I remember I utterly enjoyed it. Now it was time to attack this one. Unfortunately it’s the last one in the series. It’s sad on the one hand, but I still have 3 books to look forward to, because I have not read part 1 to 3.
I have never been on holiday with one or more small children, but I remember my sister doing it and it felt like there were about 10 suitcases for the girls and a small backpack for her and my brother in law. 🙂
The way the author described the situations the parents found themselves in are exactly as I imagined them. Utter chaos and probably a lot of fun for the little ones, but more stress than peace for the grown up ones.
I don’t applaud Abby’s behaviour, but I could understand what she meant. Going from one phase in your life to the next one, is always saying a bit goodbye. On the plus side, there are new adventures waiting for you and new memories waiting to be collected and cherished.
I loved the parents sticking together, looking out and helping each other. In their own chaos they still took the time to support others, even if it mixed up their own plans.
An easy summer read that put a smile on my face more than once. 5 stars
