Review
I have not read every single book in this series. I started with book 4 and this means I follow he Little Duck Pond Cafe gang for quite some time already.
In the beginning there were less characters of course, but little by little the ‘family’ grew and I have met a lot of very kind people and a few not so friendly ones as well.
The author has always treated her readers to heartwarming stories, but they were often heartbreaking too. No worries, in the end every black cloud has been replaced by happiness, love and friendship.
Now this book is the second one of a trilogy starring Clare and her family. In fact it’s a small series in the big series. No matte how bright the spotlight shines on someone, the author always allows us to either visit the cafe or to meet up with some of the recurring characters.
Not only are this feel good books, but the author has sometimes added a bit of suspense too, turning some into a cozy mystery.
Be prepared. In this book you will be going through a whole catalog of emotions. So sit back and enjoy Clara’s story part 2.
It is sometimes very hard to tell someone the truth, but keep in mind it will be a lot worse when they find out by accident.
Dreams are on the verge to be fulfilled, but maybe they are just that… 5 stars
