– When and where do you prefer to write?
I have two children, so, most of my writing gets done after they go to bed. I’m a night owl.
– Do you have a certain ritual?
I go through times that I do but I haven’t been consistent lately.
– Is there a drink of some food that keeps you company while you write?
I always have a large ice water by my side.
– What is your favourite book?
I just finished Dear Enemy … I loved it!! It’s a top fav and on my reread shelf.
– Do you consider writing a different genre in the future?
Yes, I have been working on a children’s book under a different pen name.
– Do you sometimes base your characters on people you know?
I would say a mix of personalities—never just one person.
– Do you take a notebook everywhere in order to write down ideas that pop up?
I use my IPad for everything and if I don’t have my IPad, I have all the apps on my phone for notes. Even with all that, I still have a pocket full of scrap papers with scribbles on them.
– Which genre do you not like at all?
I am not a fan of horror.
