THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER.
A NEW NEMESIS HAS AWOKEN.
Sinister visions of an evil entity with looming yellow eyes haunt Silver’s dreams, threatening to destroy the new world she and her friends have created. The terrifying omens push Silver to experiment with her abilities, but awaken a burgeoning thirst for more power.
As Silver walks a fine line between good and evil, her friends become wary of her intimidating abilities. She finds understanding in a sympathetic newcomer, but their deepening friendship drives an even deeper wedge between Silver and her suspicious friends.
Tragedy strikes during preparations for the final stand, bringing a terrible choice. Grief drives Silver toward reckless actions that may doom the final battle. Can she repair the relationships with her friends and control her powers before her vision becomes reality?

Q&A
When and where do you prefer to write?
If I could write 24/7 and not have to eat or take care of kids or pee, I would! I love it so much and it brings me so much joy, even the hard parts! But I have a hubbie, 3 kids and a dog to interact with (haha) and have to fit my writing hours into the school day. During that time I escape to my study and write on my laptop. I have a SAD light beside me for the winter months, which I adore and helps keep me happy. My desk is in front of a low window with a view onto our lovely back garden. I tend to wake up more late afternoon, but try and squeeze as much as I can in during those school hours.
Do you need peace and quiet when you are wrting?
Yes! Quite please! Although I love to listen to music, I can’t listen and write at the same time, I find it distracting. But there are certain songs that might encompass the feel of a particular novel so I will listen to them when I’m not writing to keep the mood front and centre.
If you had the chance to co-write a book. Whom would it be with?
Ooohhh! Good question. I’d go with either Dean Koontz, as I love all his novels and feel I learned everything about tension from him. Or Suzanne Collins. I adore The Hunger Games, and would love to write with the master of dystopian, as the genre is one of my favs too.
Say someone asks if they can use your name in a book. Would you rather be the ‘good one’ or the ‘bad one’?
Ha! I’ve just been thinking about this as in my current WIP, my aunt (Who I love dearly), has ended up being the bad guy. She’s in a home at the moment, but I know she’d love to play the villain and smile every time I work on the book. For me, I think as much as I love to write a bad guy, I want to be the hero and save the day! Give me that latex and a swishy cape.
Who would you like/have liked to interview?
I have to mention Dean Koontz and Suzanne Collins again. I’d love to peer into their brain, understand their writing process and absorb any techniques they have to offer.
Where can I find you when you are reading?
Usually in my bed with a reading light on! I tend to read before I go to bed and alternate it with watching Netflix. I also listen to audio books when I’m ferrying the kids around or having to wait in the car for them, or walking the dog in the woods.
Where can I find you wen you are not writing/reading?
Usually in a swimming pool. I’ve always loved water, the ocean, and swimming. It’s the one place my brain switches off and I can let thoughts float through me. I’ve plotted out entire novels in the pool and dealt with tricky plot holes, then struggled to remember it all when I get out and type out notes furiously on my phone! I also do a lot of walking with the dog. And I play Minecraft and other video games with the kids.
What goes through your mind when you hold your new book in your hands for the first time?
I grin. Holding something that I’ve created, that I’ve worked of months on, that I’ve seen grow from a sapling into a prideful oak tree is the best feeling in the world! It’s such a sense of achievement. Holding that physical symbol signifies so much.
How do you come up with a title for your book?
They usually just come to me, and I have to have the title before I start writing. I feel like the book has to centre around the title and it represents the theme of the book. If I struggle to come up with something I brainstorm with my writing group and they usually sort me out.
How do you pick a cover for your book?
I rely very heavily on my cover artist, Fay Lane, who has done each one of my covers. I am not a natural visionary and so must scroll through Amazon looking for covers that stand out to me. Fay is able to understand the vibe of the book just from the blurb and I throw a few starting ideas at her. She comes up with a few options each time, then we zero in on one and develop it until it’s right. With book 2 & 3 in The Unadjusteds Trilogy it was much easier as it had to fit the theme and vibe from book 1.
