My review
Call me strange but I like police officers with a certain background. They make a much more interesting character and I loved Jess straight from the start.
I totally understood the mixed emotions she felt and it made her very human. She is fierce and follows her heart. She wants the best for everyone, but seems to forget about herself.
Yesterday evening I had to read the last 20% and I often read late at night, but this one felt so creepy that I kept hearing things outside. Of course pure imagination due to the suspense, but it made the story even more real.
I absolutely loved this book and I always had the feeling that strange things happen in those rich boys schools. They really are the perfect setting for it and people with money means people with high level jobs who know how to hide what they want to keep hidden.
The only thing that disappointed me a bit was the ending. I felt it was a bit rushed and would have loved to have a more detailed explanation. I still have some questions running around in my mind, but maybe some will be answered in the next part.
This was my first book by this author and I regret that I did not read the previous parts, but from now on I will keep my eye on the ball euh book. 😉 5 stars
