Review
It has been a uear since I read book two (yes, time flies indeed 🙂 ) and it’s not easy to remember everything about a story. Of course you do not have to recall every little detail, but when it’s a series it’s helpful to be able to pick the story up again. I am very grateful to the author for giving a very short reminder in the first chapter to refresh my memory, but not too much to prevent readers who have not read the whole series yet, from reading that book as well.
Thanks to this, it all came flying back and I was ready to follow Tess, Meg, Torrie and Josh on their journey.
This author is a master in creating an atmosphere where you start doubting everyone. You really don’t know anymore who is genuine and who is telling lies. You think you can believe someone and a few minutes later you honestly think they are deceiving you.Tess is all over the place trying to do the right thing, but whose side does she have to be on?
This author leads you down a certain path, making you sure you know where it will end. But everything is not what it seems or is it?
It’s a pity I had to say goodbye to Tess, but I am sure the author has more intriguing up his sleeve to treat us with in the future. 5 stars
