Five Minutes, Alfie by Lily Mae Walters / #Review #MiniBlitz @rararesources @LilyMaeWalters1

Alfie snuggles down in bed,
dreams still in his little head.

He dreams he’s a king going out for a ride.
“A dragon sleeps in front of the gate,” they cried.

How will they succeed in waking him up?
By helping each other and lots of luck.

This is such a cute book! The dragon is lovely, Alfie is great and the author wrote a short but funny and adorable story.

The text rhymes and the illustrations complement the words perfectly.

Dragons are often the symbol for violent and angry creatures, but this one is oh so lovely and friendly. Every child will want him as a pet. 🙂

The book is written for the young ones, but I am sure that parents and grandparents will appreciate it too. I sure did and I am way above the age it was aimed for.

I would not mind seeing Alfie again in a new adventure. 5 stars.

Thank you, Lily Mae Walters and Rachel’s Random Resources
