You know the type: charming man, pillars of the community and doing lots and lots for charity. Everybody loves them because they must be saints, right? I don’t doubt some of them truly are saints, but then there are a few who have that very dark side they only show behind closed doors.
Tom is a member of the second group and he really is one horrific person. No worries, you would think, because there are always the authorities to put a stop to his disgusting actions. But as the saying goes ‘it’s not what you know, but who you know’, Tom most certainly uses this to his advantage.
His anger is focused on his wife, Catherine. Will she be able to escape his wrath or will she be the pin cushion he pins all the blame on?
A book filled with actions I saw as being a possible trap, but proving there still are people who put others first. Great read. 5 stars
