When I was reading this author’s previous book, which was her debut by the way, wild horses could not drag me away, because it was sooooo good. I can imagine you wondering what my thoughts are about her second one.
Let me tell you this : The horses from last time did not succeed this time either!
I was regularly yelling: ‘Noooo, don’t do this or don’t do that’, but when you are caught between a rock and a hard place, you go for the helping hand that reaches out to you. You convince yourselft that it’s really that innocent as it seems …
Once you have spun a tight net of lies and deceit around yourself, it’s time to try and get out of it. Don’t forget that sometimes karma is a girl’s best friend. Forget about the diamonds. 😉 🙂
So yes, another great story by this author. Keep an eye out for her. 5 stars

Sadie Ryan is a British author with two grown up children, she lives with her daughter, adorable rescue dog and cat in a small village in leafy Cheshire in the North West of England. She writes psychological suspense/domestic noir novels. In 2005 in-between raising a family and working full-time, she wrote a ‘Twilight’ style paranormal romance which was ahead of its time but was never published. It sits patiently in her drawer waiting to be savagely edited one day. Since then she has completed two psychological suspense/domestic noir novels. Her latest book, Behind Closed Doors, was snapped up by publishers Ruby Fiction and was published in Kindle and audio book formats in May 2019. The paperback version will be published in February 2020. When asked where she gets her ideas from, she says, ‘From observation, inspiration and lots of wicked thoughts.’
