Sunnybrook … the village that wll always put a smile on your face even though the road towards it can be very rocky and bendy.
Fans of the series have already met Jen, Jake and Luke and already know a bit about their lives and history together.
I alm glad the author thought her readers would be interested in knowing more about them and she was most certainly right.
When you say Jen, you say Clara. She is the main character in the three previous books that were written like a trilogy in the series and Jens best friend.
When you have friends and family you know you can count on them whenever you need them, but sometimes you don’t ask them for anything. You are too ashamed to explain the situation you are in and how you got there and you keep quite, struggling on your own.
Now you feel even more miserable because of all the excuses you have to invent the bond you had begns to crumble down.
But a feel good book would not be a feel good book if there was nothing in it to feel good about. 😉 and that’s when Jen is starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 🙂
What can I say more about this series I have not mentioned in a previous review? Nothing to add in fact. I only can repeat myself in saying it’s fantastic. 5 stars
