Review
This book is another excellent story starring DI Kim Stone and her team. Those who know this authors work won’t be surprised by this conclusion. They already know, before even having opened the book, that they are in for a treat and won’t be disappointed.
Kim, you are such a great character. You had me in stitches whilst reading the first few pages. The banter there is between her and Bryant and her and Keats is just hilarious. It’s a pity they are not real life people, because I think we could have been besties then.
I love the chemistry floating around the police team although the atmosphere might have been a bit frosty for a while between certain members.
Kim is being Kim and I would not like her to change. She goes the whole nine yards for those she loves and won’t rest before she has uncovered every last detail.
So yes this book, which is nothing short of impressive, is a must read, pure and simple. 5 stars
