Just when you thought you had it all worked out …

Best friends Lisa and Felicity think  – maybe, just maybe – they finally have everything sorted out in their lives.

Lisa is in a happy relationship with her old flame, and busy mum Felicity has managed to reignite the passion with her husband, Pete after a romantic getaway.

But when Lisa walks in on a half-naked woman in her boyfriend’s flat and Felicity is left reeling from a shocking discovery, it becomes clear that life is nothing but full of surprises …

My review

About a year ago I read the first part of this series. I devour a fair amount of books per year and it’s not always evident to remember each and every one of them, but when you start reading and it comes straight back to you, it means it had quite an impact on you. I loved the previous book and I was looking forward to find out whether the author could charm me again.

Well, I won’t keep you in suspense for much longer. She certainly met my expectations. It was so lovely to reconnect with the characters and I just loved Flick and her family and Lisa, Winnie, Dom, … every one of them to make a long story short. 🙂

And then there is Nathan. He is like a dream come true, Prince Charming must be his middle name.

There is only one thing left for me to do and that is to recommend this book. If you are looking for a lovely heartwarming funny story and you don’t mind shedding a little tear here and there, you just have to read this one. Bring on part 3, please. 😉 5 stars.

Thank you, Carol Thomas, Ruby Fiction and Rachel’s Random Resources.
