OMG, it’s so true what they say. Time does fly awfully fast when you are having fun. This is already book 10 in this amazing series and even though I have not read them all yet, I loved each and everyone of those I did read already.
I loved it when the lead detective give their all. They don’t spend a lot of time sleeping, eating or doing anything else when they are investigating a case. Time is always flying for them too. Often they do not only have to try and find victims or catch baddies, they often have a whole bunch of things going on in their private lives too.
They want to keep going strong and feel not happy when their colleagues come across things from their past. They feel ashamed and are afraid people will look at them in a different way. What they don’t seem to realise is that their teammates won’t judge them and will try to help them as much as they can. You have to let them in though…
Gina and her team have a lot on their plate again. Little by little the truth is being uncovered. It’s an ugly one and it forces Gina to trade places for a while…
A fantastic book with one of my favourite police teams. 5 stars.
