When you look around at Christmas, it’s all about happiness, family, friends, joyfulness and often about spending money too.
Some people though would love to go and hibernate for a few days until all this is over. Why? Well, because the so called festive season is not very festive for them for different reasons; They might have lost a loved one for example and they don’t really feel like being joyous.
Of course your best friends want to make you feel welcome and invite you to help you, but you might not feel like forcing yourself and if you don’t you are afraid you might spoil their celebrations too.
Being surrounded by love … That certainly should make you feel better and maybe even forget the sad things for a while. They mean well, but they don’t realise it makes you feel the loss even more.
You don’t want to hurt them, do you? So you give in…
Not every nice Christmas gift comes wrapped in a shiny paper with a lovely bow. OH, no. 😊 Some might make you want to run away and never turn back, but aren’t you mighty glad you stayed…? 😉
I loved this book. I felt for Tina and her story is a bit sad, but if you have read the other parts of the series by this author you know you will always close her books with a smile on your face. 5 stars
