Q&A
When and where do you prefer to write?
I write in several places in my house, to change up the scenery. But wherever I write on any given day, I need my map of Aetheria on the wall next to me for reference while writing the Seventh Age Saga.
Do you need peace and quiet when you are writing?
Absolutely. I’ve seen some authors that need music while writing, but I need silence.
If you had the chance to co-write a book. Whom would it be with?
Honestly, I’d never want to co-write a book with anyone. I’m a bit of a power hog when it comes to my stories and I wouldn’t want to subject another author to my greedy writing personality, LOL.
Say someone asks if they can use your name in a book. Would you rather be the ‘good one’ or the ‘bad one’?
Oh, I think I’d want to be the anti-hero. Good and bad types are too, well, good or bad. I like to be the hero, but with a dark side and who doesn’t follow the “rules”.
Where can I find you when you are reading?
I always read in bed.
Where can I find you when you are not writing/reading?
Playing Diablo III on the PC, or hiking. I love to be in nature; I feel most at peace there.
What goes through your mind when you hold your new book in your hands for the first time?
Each book is such a satisfying accomplishment! And each one only makes me want to write another.
How do you pick a cover for your book?
I do my own covers – I’m the Lonely Raven.
