Review

I thoroughly enjoyed this author’s previous two books, so when the invitation fell into my mail box, I did not have to think twice: of course I would like to take part in a blog tour for her new book! 🙂

The main characters are Lindy and Mia. They both take turns in telling us this intriguing story. 

The author first reveals Mia’s background story which is the base for the book. You feel for her. She did not really make the best decisions, but when you are young, you listen to the adults and you are influenced by them. You are afraid and you do as they say. If only you knew…

We have to wait a whole lot longer to find out what is going on with Lindy. It only makes you want to read faster, because you feel there is a lot to reveal. I never saw that coming…

Both Mia and Lindy change quite a bit during the story. Is it for the better or the worse, that is for you to discover when you read the book. Sorry, but did you really think I was going to let this slip? 🙂

You make a pact. It’s only natural you keep your end of the bargain, right? No matter how, where or when…

The story is filled with emotions. You will feel sad, happy, disgusted and regularly chills will race down your spine. 

A very good book. 5 stars

Sadie Ryan is the author of three books. Her latest, Guilty came out in April 2021, a psychological thriller. She loves animals and lives in leafy Cheshire in the North West of England with her daughter and rescue dog. When not writing she spends her time reading, gardening, walking her dog or watching old black and white movies.
